The film starring Bartłomiej Topa, Julia Kijowska, Małgorzata Foremniak and Adam Woronowicz is a crime drama following a mysterious case of a young German girl who kills herself in Wrocław. A German-Polish investigation duo works to solve a case that turns out not to be what it seems.

The film was produced by Maciej Strzembosz though Prasa i Film in coproduction with Telewizja Polska, Odra Film, WFDiF, Agora and Studio Produkcyjne Orka.

The budget is 1.6 m EUR / 6.9 m PLN, of which 464,078 EUR / 2 m PLN is covered by a grant from the Polish Film Institute and 70,881 EUR / 300,000 PLN came from Lower Silesia Film Fund.

Humble Servants / Sługi Boże was released in Poland by Next Film on 16 September 2016.
