WARSAW: The Polish Film Institute chose 5 new animated films and films for the youth audience to support in the 2nd funding session of 2017, including new projects from Magdalena Łazarkiewicz and Piotr Stasik.
The Polish Film Institute assigned 2.8 m PLN / 668,865 EUR of production funding in the second batch of funding for youth oriented films in 2017. The biggest grant of 1.5 m PLN / 354,483 EUR went to a directing debut from Piotr Stasik, entitled Odyseja filmowa, produced by Telemark and 1.m PLN / 236,322 EUR for a new film from Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, entitled Kajtek Czarodziej, produced by mediabrigade.
