The aim of the newly introduced Progress Pitching Session is to promote international coproductions, use the substantive potential of the festival's guests and create a place where films with global potential will be born.
The organisers invited producers to submit films in development, preproduction or rough cut, who are looking for international coproduction or distribution opportunities. The prize for the best project amounts to 3,000 EUR. Two Ukrainian projects were invited alongside 10 Polish projects.
MDAG Industry is a project connecting Polish filmmakers with foreign representatives of festivals (Cannes, Sundance, Berlinale, CPH: DOX, IDFA, DOC NYC, Hot Docs, and others), distributors, producers, sales agents and well-known stars of contemporary cinema.
The project was launched in 2021 with one event, and in 2022 the Millennium Docs Against Gravity created an extensive module of industry events under the banner of MDAG Industry.
The Industry section is organised in cooperation with Canal + Polska.
