Polsat Cyfrowy profits jump 125 percent

    Digital television operator Polsat Cyfrowy posted a net profit of 122.3 million zloties (€33.9 million) during the first three quarters of 2007, or 125% above the same nine-month period in 2006, the company said in a statement Feb. 12. Revenues rose nearly 70% during the same period to 553.3 million zloties.

    EBITDA after the first nine months of 20007 stood at 167.8 million zloties.
    Cyfrowy Polsat plans to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange during the first quarter of 2008. Its prospectus has already been approved but it has delayed the IPO because of adverse market conditions.
