The latest offering from the Coen brothers Inside Llewyn Davis scored the Grand Prix despite being described by most critics as not their best work.
Films from the Central and Eastern European region were notable for their absence from the programme this year with few films competing. In the Cinefondation section In Acvariu (In the Fishbowl) directed by Tudor Cristian Jurgui from Romania and
Pandas, a 12 minute animated short, directed by Matus Vizar from the Czech Republic and Slovakia managed to score the third prize which they shared Ex-Aequo.
