ATHENS: The altcineAction! 2015 online festival has posted its first films online for viewing. The festival runs through 24 January 2016.
Filmmakers from the Balkan region, including Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia, Cyprus, Croatia and Romania, with no more than one feature film can still submit their films of up to 15 minutes to the festival. The online festival host 480 minutes of short films available for viewing online.
The festival will award three major prizes of production services, two special jury awards and an award to an emerging young critic.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
