PARIS: Aide au Cinémas du Monde (ACM) Distribution within the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée in Paris has launched a new call for the distribution support of international coproductions with a deadline of 28 February 2018.
The scheme was initially open only to films supported by the Aide aux cinémas du monde at the production stage, but from now on it will support distribution for international coproductions between a MEDIA and a non-MEDIA country respecting the % rules: the MEDIA coproducer's financial contribution must be between 25% and 70% for fiction and long animated films, and between 20% and 70% for documentaries.
