FESTIVALS: The 23rd goEast Unveils Lineup

    WIESBADEN:  GoEast, the Festival of Central and Eastern European Film has announced the lineup for its 23rd edition taking place 26 April - 2 May 2023 in Wiesbaden and the surrounding region.

    The festival will be hosted by DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum and part of the programme will also be available for online streaming in Germany on VoD platform Filmwerte.

    The festival will open with Inna Sahakyan’s Aurora’s Sunrise.

    The Bioscope section, which presents highlights from the festival circuit, offers a broad spectrum of current film productions from Central and Eastern Europe, while short film enthusiasts can look forward to the Anarcho Shorts.

    GoEast, the Festival of Central and Eastern European Film is hosted by DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum and made possible with the support of numerous partners. Primary funding partners are HessenFilm und Medien GmbH, the State Capital Wiesbaden, Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain, the film festival funding programme of the Goethe-Institut in co-operation with the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, Osteuropa-Hilfswerk Renovabis and the Central and Eastern European Online Library GmbH / CEEOL.
