ID channel expands into Central Europe


    Discovery Networks EMEA, which oversees Discovery's European operations, will launch its Investigation Discovery (ID) channel in Romania, Hungary, and Poland, beginning in April.

    The launch marks the eighth Discovery (http://corporate.discovery.com) channel airing in Poland, and the seventh in Romania and Hungary. Investigation Discovery was launched in the US in January 2008, and internationally in England in January 2009. The 24-hour forensics channel features crime and investigation series, and targets an adult (primarily female) audience, age 25-54.
