He also said that 100% of the financing is already in place. The producers refused to divulge the budget or financing details.
The project will be directed by Qiang Chen. It was developed by V.V. Hand's Mr. Chen Qiang and partners, Mr. Li Peisen, and Gao Feng. Executive producer is Zhang Jiazhen (Anna and the King, Broken Arrow).
C. Chiang is the screenwriter and Zhao Fei (Sweet and Lowdown, The Curse of the Jade Scorpion) is the DOP. The cast will include American and European actors.
The film will be shot in China and in Eastern Europe in 2012. There is no world sales agent yet. Zi Jiang Television will handle the TV rights for China. The premiere is set for late 2012.
