Jeux Sans Frontiere is a drama/thriller about a group of ten 40-year-olds, friends since high school, who are stranded in a remote chalet in bleak mid-winter, where nothing is what it seems to be. The production team described the project as a whodunnit/slasher movie that turns into a psychological thriller.
The film is currently in development and the producers are seeking coproduction partners and financing. The budget is 1 m EUR, with 330,000 EUR in place from the Romanian Film Centre. The producers have completed the script and some of the cast is in place, and they have started location scouting. Shooting is scheduled to begin next winter.
