Metronom by Alexandru Belc, which had the most nominations (11), was awarded in the cinematography, costumes, make-up and hair styling, and production design categories.
Approximately 650 Romanian film professionals voted on the awards.
Cristian Mungiu, who produced and directed R.M.N., didn’t submit his film to the nominations.
Gopo Awards were organised by Romanian Film Promotion. They were funded by the Romanian Ministry of Culture, supported by the Romanian Film Centre, Dacin Sara and Babel Communications, in partnership with the Municipality of Bucharest through ARCUB, the Sector 5 City Hall through the „Ștefan Iordache” Cultural Youth Centre and the “I.L. CARAGIALE” National Theatre in Bucharest.
