    A modern story of a young Romani coulple and their efforts to live a decent and dignified life, which runs up against the Romani social trap – racism, the society's prejudices, exclusion from opportunities to obtain legal work, the lack of necessary qualifications, difficult communication with officials, debts and also the miserable existential conditions connected with the environment, lifestyle and traditional values of their ethnicity.

    Prague 1983. The eighteen-year-old sprinter Anna, a top athlete, is placed on the Programme of “Specialized Care”. She only finds out that she is being doped after some months, by accident. Anna refuses the doping, but her mother Irena decides to keep her daughter on doping without her knowledge in order to allow her the chance to run in the Olympic Games and emigrate.
