FNE at the Slovak Film Week: Spievankovo 5: Professions

BRATISLAVA: Diana Novotná’s musical for children Spievakovo 5: Professions will screen at the Slovak Film Week, a showcase for domestic production organised by the Slovak Film and Television Academy from 11 to 17 April 2016.

It is Zahrajko’s birthday and Spievanka wants to surprise him. She calls in the children from our world to help her out. They decide to throw a birthday party for him and make some presents as well. All this has to happen in secret, so that Zahrajko does not find out what is going on.

All the characters come to life thanks to the performances by professional actors from Slovak film and theatre. The cast includes Mária Podhradská, Richard Čanaky, Monika Hilmerová, Roman Pomajbo and Csongor Kassai.

The fifth part of Spievankovo stories was produced by TONADA and supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund. Art4 distributed the film in Slovakia.
