Marian Labuda in Obsluhoval som anglického krála by Jiří MenzelBRATISLAVA: Acclaimed Slovak actor Marián Labuda, who starred in Jiří Menzel’s My Sweet Little Village (1985, Barrandov), died at the age of 73 on 5 January 2018.
Marián Labuda also starred in Martin Šulík’s The Garden / Záhrada (1995, Filmové ateliéry Koliba) and Martin Ťapák’s Pacho Hybský Zbojník (1976, Barrandov), as well as in dozens of films and TV series. He was also an accomplished theatre actor.
He was also politically involved and took part in the 1989 Velvet Revolution.
