Kolosej kinematografi, the biggest Slovenian cinematography company, has opened a multiplex in the Belgrade shopping mall Ušče.

This is Kolosej's (www.kolosej.si) second entertainment center in Belgrade but its first cinema multiplex. The 12 million Euro complex holds 11 screens including XpanD 3D, XpanD 6D and VIP cinema halls, as well as bowling, billiards, arcade games, and a casino. The multiplex opened with the Slovenian hit film Rooster's Breakfast.

At the official opening, Kolosej director Sergej Racman said, "Kolosej is expanding to foreign markets together with strategic partner European company X6D Limited (www.xpandcinema.com), and together they bring to cinema viewers the newest technology in cinematography. Besides regular digital 3D screening we offer many other effects (moving chairs, for example) that vary ordinary movie watching."

Next year, Kolosej plans to open an even larger entertainment center in Bucharest with 17 screens at an investment of 35 million Euros.
