Organized by the New Horizons Association and Creative Europe Desk Poland, it consists of workshops and lectures on various aspects related to the project promotion and development.
New Horizons Studio+ selects European director-producer pairs who are developing their first or second feature film. Emerging talents from Poland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Romania and Ukraine took part in the programme under the supervision of the following experts: David Pope (London Film Academy), Álvaro Vega (DobleSentido), sales agents: Katarzyna Siniarska (New Europe Film Sales), Isabel Ivars (Films Boutique) and Michael Arnon (Wolf Consultants).
The New Horizons Studio+ program was completed with an open lecture on green production given by the special guest Fabian Linder (Achtung Panda!).
The participants took part in the pitching contest. The jury selecting the best project and pitch decided to give the main awards and a special mention.
Another Story of My Son by Adrian Silișteanu, produced by Anda Ionescu received the New Horizons Association / London Film Academy Main Award, which is script consultancy sponsored by London Film Academy.
Seasons directed by Michał Grzybowski and produced by Maria Leźnicka received Ale kino+ Television Channel Award, which is the Letter of Intent for TV distribution.
Last Trip directed by Ziad Kalthoum, produced by Marta Golba-Naumann, received a Special Mention.
Pop Up Residency Visegrad awarded Magdalena Chmielewska, the director of Mira’s Fire.
