CANNES: Oscar winning László Nemes’ Moulin, a French production shot in Hungary and postproduced by NFI Filmlab, will have its world premiere in the Official Competition of the 79th Cannes Festival on 17 May 2026. Outfit 193 is handling the sales.

BRATISLAVA: The Canadian/Slovak production The Exiled, directed by Stephen Campanelli and starring Alessandro Nivola, is starting sales at the Cannes Film Market (12 – 20 May 2026), represented by Protagonist Pictures. The film was shot in Canada and Slovakia, where it benefited from the 33% local cash rebate scheme.

VALLETTA: The Malta Film Commission proudly announces the return of the Mediterrane Film Festival for its fourth edition, taking place between 21 and 28 June 2026 across Valletta and a number of Malta’s most iconic locations.

PARIS: Serbian/Croatian Nobody Said Anything / Nico nista nije rekao by Tamara Todorovic, and Spiritus Sanctus by Polish director Michal Toczek have been selected for the Short Film Competition of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
