The second edition of Full Moon Creative Lab, a project dedicated to screenwriters specializing in genre TV series - thriller, horror, and fantasy - has ended the selection phase and identified three projects to be creatively developed over the course of three residencies. The Transilvania International Film Festival initiative is co-financed by the European Union and the first residency is scheduled to take place in December 2024 in Transylvania.

The drama is also the German Entry for the 97th Oscars® in the “Best International Feature Film“ category.

This 2.3 m EUR coproduction between Romania, France, Denmark, Greece and Bulgaria is supported by the Romanian Film Centre, the Bulgarian National Film Center, Aide aux cinémas du monde (ACM), Danish Film Institute (DFI), among many others.
LOS ANGELES: At the very first “Made in Hungary” event held in Beverly Hills on 28 October 2024, Government Commissioner Csaba Kael presented the inaugural Best International Production Filmed in Hungary Award to Poor Things by Yorgos Lanthimos, and announced the extension of Hungary’s film support scheme till 2030.
Year of German Central European Films 2024: German Films Screenings in November 2024
Region 29-10-2024FNE together with German Films have launched the Year of German Central European Films 2024 with a special focus on German films in Central and Eastern European countries plus Cyprus and Malta and FNE partner countries’ films screening in Germany.
Los Angeles - Government Commissioner Csaba KAEL announced the extension of Hungary’s highly successful film support scheme till 2030, continuing its commitment to contribute to such international successes as ‘Dune’, ‘Maria’ and ‘The Brutalist’. National Film Institute awarded ‘Best Int’l Production Filmed in Hungary’ for the first time in history.
PÖFF sets focus on German cinema and has chosen the world premiere of David Dietl's "Long Story Short" to open the festival.
The selection for this year's international Script Pool competition, which focuses on film scripts, includes projects from Finland and Latvia, as well as three co-productions with Germany.
