ZAGREB: The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) unveiled new production and development grants on 11 and 12 December 2025.

SKOPJE: The documentary The Tale of Silyan / Siljan by acclaimed Macedonian director Tamara Kotevska was nominated for the 37th Annual Producers Guild Awards in the Outstanding Producer of Documentary Motion Pictures category.

The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) unveiled new production grants on 11 and 12 December 2025.

The minority coproduction grants for 2025 were announced by the Cypriot Deputy Ministry of Culture in March and July 2025.

PODGORICA: The feature film Rooms / Sobe directed by Pavle Simonović is currently in the editing stage. A Montenegrin/Croatian coproduction made in association with Slovenia, the film will have its premiere in 2026. It is backed by both the Film Centre of Montenegro and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, among others.

PARK CITY: Several feature films and documentaries produced or coproduced by FNE partner countries have been selected for the upcoming Sundance Film Festival 2026.

BATUMI: BIAFF Batumi Film Festival will present the BIAFF Film Week from 13 to 17 December 2025, with a collection of feature and short films, and no competition programme this year.

BUDAPEST: The Hungarian Animation Producers Association (MAPSZ), with the support of the National Film Institute – Hungary (NFI) and Creative Europe Programme, is launching a new professional two-year programme, aiming at increasing the international presence and coproduction opportunities of Hungarian animation in the long term.

BIAFF Batumi Film Festival will present BIAFF Film Week from December 13-17, where a collection of both feature and short films will be screened.
