11 February 2012: A Group of Europe's most talented young actors have just arrived in Berlin to be presented by European Film Promotion (EFP) for the 15th edition of SHOOTING STARS at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.

The SHOOTING STARS, come from a broad range of European countries, backgrounds and experiences. They have arrived in Berlin to start a weekend full of events where they will further their international connections and future work opportunities. Chosen by a high-profile jury of film industry professionals, the ten young actors will meet casting directors, agents and filmmakers and be presented to the international media. The highlight of the SHOOTING STARS weekend will be the glamorous award ceremony held at the Berlinale Palast on Monday night. Each will be presented with The SHOOTING STARS Award being donated by the main partner, TESIRO. Chinese film star Annie Yi will also participate at the various events as the Chinese ambassador for SHOOTING STARS. The European Commission co-funds the Shooting Stars initiative through its MEDIA programme for cinema.
