18th Tallinn Black Nights FF calls for Entries

    Tallinn Black Nights FF, or PÖFF, is one of the largest and most distinctive film festivals in Northern Europe and belongs to the 50 leading film festivals of the world.

    The festival accommodates three international competition programs (EurAsia, Tridens and North American indie films), and three full blown sub festivals (Animated Dreams, Just Film, and Sleepwalkers) along with comprehensive festival program and industry events Baltic Event and Industry @ Tallinn.

    • North American competition - indie feature film competition for feature length films from Canada and US premiered after 15 September, 2013
    • Non-competitive sections for Feature length films and documentaries premiered after 1 January, 2014

    • National competition programme of Estonian short and medium-length films

    for short and medium-length (-45 min) films: fiction, documentary or experimental

    For international student competition, directed by a film or media student

    Premiered after 1 January, 2013 for the international student, short and Baltic Sea festival competitions

    Premiered after 1 January 2014 (in the case of films for the Estonian National competition)
