Class Reunion by Rene VilbreTALLINN: Class Reunion / Klassikokkutulek, a remake slapstick comedy by Rene Vilbre, broke the all-time box office record in Estonia with 980,000 EUR gross in the first six weeks since its theatrical release on 19 February 2016. The previous box office record was held by James Cameron’s Avatar.
The film produced by Estonia’s Taska Film also beat the opening weekend record for a domestic film with over 33,000 admissions.
Still screening in ten cinema theatres, Class Reunion is well on track to become the first film ever released in Estonia with more than 1 m EUR gross. The film was released by Forum Cinemas AS in a record 34 cinemas across the country.
