FNE Doc Bloc: Deadline Approaches for Baltic Sea Forum

    Producers have two weeks left to apply for the Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries.

    Independent production companies from wider Baltic Sea region as well as Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine are welcome to submit their documentary projects for participation at the 18th edition of the Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries. Producers from any other European country can also apply with the projects if the documentary subject relates to the wider Baltic Sea Region.

    Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries is a meeting place for documentary filmmakers from both East and West that helps to find co-financing opportunities of their projects. Forum will take place from September 3 to 7 in Riga and it is organized by the National Film Centre of Latvia, Creative Europe/Media Office in close collaboration with European Documentary Network.

    24 documentary projects will be selected to be presented to the panel of decision makers, the selection results will be announced by July 11. Preparation workshop will also be organized before the pitching session as well as one day workshop on Innovative Aspects in Documentary Filmmaking. Documentary film screenings for general public and professionals in Rīga and regional centers will also take place during the forum.
