You Are God, a Leszek Dawid drama about the Polish hip-hop band Paktofonika, produced by Studio Filmowe KADR received seven nominations. Recent Polish box office hit Traffic Police directed by Wojciech Smarzowski and produced by Film It will compete in six categories, while Piotr Trzaskalski's drama My Father's Bike and Carnage (www.spifilmstudio.com) directed by Roman Polański received three nominations apiece.

The nominees were chosen by the members of the Polish Film Academy from an eligible 41 films which were distributed in Poland between 1 January and 31 December 2012. The Lifetime Achievement award will be announced on 28 February 2013.
