Ida is one of five films nominated for the European Film 2014 prize. Pawlikowski also received a nomination for European Director 2014 and a shared nomination with Lenkiewicz for European Scriptwriter 2014.

The films two leads Agata Kulesza and Agata Trzebuchowska were jointly nominated in the European Actress 2014 category.

The film is already guaranteed one prize. A seven member EFA jury voted to give the Łukasz Żal and Ryszard Lenczewski the European Cinematographer – Prix Carlo di Palma award.
