The central character is a young gay teen, whose family has been moved into the home of a purged Muslim family that included one of his classmates. The teen longs to escape to Denmark with the help of his summer romantic partner, as his world and relationships begin to collapse. Years later, having successfully established himself in Denmark, the now-adult man realises he will never feel at home.

The film will be a Serbian/Danish coproduction directed by Sasa Peric, through the young Serbian company Ignis and the Danish company Masterplan Pictures. The budget is 600,000 EUR with 60,000 EUR in place through a development grant from Film Center Serbia, a Swiss grant and UK in-kind post production. The filmmakers are seeking coproducers, equity investors, sales and distribution.
