SOFA Announces Its 7th Edition Lineup


ODESSA: Participants from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Georgia, Montenegro and Poland are among the selected participants at the 7th edition of SOFA SCHOOL OF FILM ADVANCEMENT.

The announcement was made during the Odessa International Film Festival.

The dates for the SOFA workshops are: Warsaw, 18-23 August 2019; Tbilisi, 25-30 April 2020 and Vilnius, 15-19 September 2020.

SOFA – School of Film Advancement is a joint project of Filmplus gUG (Cologne) and the Institute for Democratic Changes (Tbilisi), funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union.

The 2019 workshop in Poland is supported by the Polish Film Institute, the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, while the 2019 Lithuanian workshop will be funded by the Lithuanian Film Centre.
