By FNE Staff

Tne 5th annual Creative Awards Program (CAP), taking place in Malta on 22 September 2011, has announced it is accepting entries from non-CTAM Europe members, the European branch of the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing. CAP honors creative excellence in marketing for cable television.

"This year we are inviting entries to CAP '11 from non-CTAM members and also adding a new division, so cable industry suppliers can participate in the competition as well," said Krisztina Homolay, Managing Director of CTAM Europe (www.ctameurope.com).

Entries will be judged in three divisions - cable operators, networks and content providers, and cable industry suppliers - in the following categories:

    New brand launches and rebrands

    Repositionings and relaunches

    Customer acquisition and retention

    Innovative use of media.

Entries should include only current marketing and communications materials used between 15 June 2010 and 15 June 2011.

CTAM, which was launched in the U.S. in 1976, has some 5,500 members worldwide, and the European branch includes over 25 leading companies in Europe.
