BRATISLAVA: The Slovak Film Week, a showcase of domestic production organised by the Slovak Film and Television Academy from 9 to 15 April 2018, will introduce Gyorgy Kristóf’s debut feature Out. This Slovak/Hungarian/Czech coproduction had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

BRATISLAVA: Ten projects, including Slovak/Czech coproductions, registered for the 20% cash rebate at the Slovak Audiovisual Fund in 2017 for a 2018 shooting. The eased requierements implemented in 2017 attracted more international projects than in 2016, when four projects applied for incentives.
BRATISLAVA: The political drama By a Sharp Knife / Ostrým nožom completed its shooting at the end of September 2017 and is in postprodution. The film will be released in 2018.
