BRATISLAVA: Slovak director Mariana Čengel Solčanská moved to postproduction as she wrapped the shooting of her upcoming feature film Kidnapping/ Únos end of June 2016. The film is set to be released on 2 March 2017.

BRATISLAVA: Slovakia will see two festivals directly competing for audiences, films and guests at the end of this month. Following the decision of Art Film Fest to relocate to the Eastern city of Košice, the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice will unveil the first edition of a new film festival, International Film Festival Trenčianske Teplice.

BRATISLAVA: Heart of a Tower/Srdce veže by director and animator Peter Budinský has received a 60,000 EUR grant from the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme. Its premiere is set for 2020.
