SARAJEVO: Georgian documentary director, cinematographer and editor Giorgi Parkosadze is presenting his long documentary project Requiem to the Hot Days of Summer at the Docu Rough Cut Boutique, a regional platform dedicated to documentary projects in postproduction organised by the Sarajevo Film Festival and the Balkan Documentary Center. The film is a Georgian/Greek coproduction.

SARAJEVO: Tea Vidović Dalipi is presenting her first and personal documentary project Snajka at the Docu Rough Cut Boutique, a regional platform for documentaries in the advanced phase of editing, organised by the Sarajevo Film Festival and Balkan Documentary Center. Snajka is a coproduction between Croatia, Kosovo and Italy.

SARAJEVO: Mate Ugrin, whose Everything Ahead won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Film in 2021, is returning to the Sarajevo Film Festival to present his debut feature project at the CineLink Co-production Market (13 - 18 August 2022). Petty Thieves is a German/Croatian/French coproduction.

SARAJEVO: Hungarian director Gergő Somogyvári will be presenting his first long documentary Fairy Garden at the Docu Rough Cut Boutique, the regional platform dedicated to documentaries in postproduction organised by the Sarajevo Film Festival and the Balkan Documentary Center.

SARAJEVO: Aleksandar Nikolić, whose feature documentary The Serbian Lawyer (2014) premiered at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, is presenting his next documentary project The Soldier at Docu Rough Cut Boutique, a regional platform dedicated to documentary projects in the advanced phase of the editing process, organised by the Sarajevo Film Festival and Balkan Documentary Center.

SARAJEVO: Montenegrin director Ivan Bakrač will be presenting the project of his sophomore feature Jugoslava at the CineLink Co-production Market, which will take place 13 - 18 August 2022. For now, Jugoslava is a coproduction between Montenegro, Serbia and France.

SARAJEVO: Academy Award-winner Danis Tanović and Cannes FF laureate Aida Begić are currently in postproduction with Kotlina, a five-episode crime drama created by Tanović and Amra Bakšić Čamo, and produced by SCCA/pro.ba for BH Telecom and BH Content Lab.

SARAJEVO: Eight titles will compete for the Heart of Sarajevo award in the Competition Programme - Feature Film 2022 of the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival.

SARAJEVO: The Ministry of Culture of Kanton Sarajevo has allocated grants for the production of long and short films, as well as the development of TV series, for the second consecutive year. A total of 502,600 EUR / 983,000KM has been allocated.

SARAJEVO: Film Fund Sarajevo will allot 1,155,519 EUR / 2.26 m KM in 2022, which is a 100% increase compared to the 594,066 EUR / 1,161,893 KM allocated in 2021.
