VILNIUS: FNE spoke to Mindaugas Jokūbaitis, producer at OAK9 Entertainment, UAB, about their current activities, as well as the state of the Lithuanian animation and game development industries.

BUDAPEST: Hungarian director/screenwriter Nóra Lakos is currently in production with children's film I Accidentally Wrote a Book / Véletlenül írtam egy könyvet. This 4 m EUR Hungarian/Dutch coproduction has already been acquired by German sales agent Beta Films.

BUDAPEST: Polish project Camper, produced by TVP, has won the 7th edition of Pitch & Play LIVE! at NATPE Budapest 2023.

VILNIUS: Lithuanian director Vytautas Puidokas is currently finishing production on his long documentary Abandoned, which is estimated to be completed in early 2024.

BUDAPEST: Hungarian director Peter Fazakas is currently in production with Tonight We Kill / Ma este gyilkolunk written by Norbert Köbli, one of the most talented Hungarian young scriptwriters. The film is supported by the National Film Institute Hungary and is scheduled for theatrical release on Valentine’s Day 2024.

PRAGUE: FNE spoke to Steven Fong, CEO & Executive Producer and Yuri Gorpinevici, Managing Partner of Circle Studio, about their ambitions, as well as the state of the Czech animation and game development industries. Circle Studio was launched in Malaysia and just recently it has set up another entity in the Czech Republic.

VILNIUS: Lithuanian director/screenwriter Giedrė Beinoriūtė is working on her new project, the long documentary Sacrum and Profanum in Pievenai / Sacrum ir profanum Pievėnuose. The planned premiere of the film is next Easter, 2024.

PRAGUE: Ukrainian director/screenwriter Ivan Tymchenko is almost ready for the premiere of his new project, the Ukrainian/Czech/Swedish/Slovak feature film Oxygen Station / Kyslíková Stanice.
