First Festival of Animated Film and Illustration in Montenegro Ready to Kick-Off
Montenegro 16-03-2025NIKŠCIĆ: (RE)ANIMATION, the first Festival of European Animated Film and Illustration in Montenegro, will be held in the city of Nikšić from 20 to 22 March 2025. It will include a Salon of Illustration and Animation with 37 Montenegrin authors selected from among 200 submissions and vying for three cash prizes.
BUCHAREST: The Film O’Clock International Festival has announced the programme for its 11th edition that will take place 3 – 6 April 2025 simultaneously in 11 countries including Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Poland.

PRODUCTION: Đorđe Vojvodić in Postproduction with Montenegrin/Serbian Documentary Nothing for You to Change
Montenegro 13-03-2025PODGORICA: Montenegrin director Đorđe Vojvodić is expected to wrap postproduction on his 100-minute documentary Nothing for You to Change / Ne pokušavaj mijenjat’ me by mid-July 2025. The film is a coproduction between Montenegro and Serbia, supported by both countries’ film centres.

RIGA: The Grand Prix of the 5th International Documentary Film Festival ArtDocFest/Riga went to the Ukrainian film Mission 200 directed by Volodymyr Sydko. The festival was held in Riga 1 – 8 March 2025.
Montenegro Launches Script Development and Project Development Competitions for Female Filmmakers
Montenegro 11-03-2025PODGORICA: The Film Centre of Montenegro and the UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation have signed an agreement on joining the Female Filmmakers Support Programme. The Centre also announced the opening of a competition for the co-financing of script development and the development of projects carried out by women in 2025.
VALLETTA: Arts Council Malta’s Screen Support Scheme will distribute 2 m EUR in 2025, which represents a significant increase compared to three years ago.
TALLINN: A 16 m EUR multimedia and creative industry incubator will be built in the Estonian town of Jõhvi following an agreement signed by the Estonian Ida-Viru Investment Agency Foundation and Mapri Ehitus. Its main purpose is to bring international film productions to the Ida-Viru County.
