The 2025 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) will showcase a compelling selection of documentaries in its Doc@PÖFF International and Baltic Competitions. For the first time, Baltic documentaries and feature films will compete in separate programmes.
With pride, Slovak Film Institute brings you the news of classic Slovak films showcased in the programs of two major international film festivals: the Festival Lumière (October 11 – 19, 2025) and the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia (October 9 – 19, 2025). Both events rank among the most important festivals in their respective fields: Festival Lumière is dedicated to the presentation of world film heritage, while Sitges focuses on genre cinema, particularly horror, fantasy, and science fiction.
The Baltic Event Co-Production Market returns from 19–21 November, presenting 15 new film projects — including debut works, fresh features, and compelling stories from acclaimed directors. For the second year, the selection also features films aimed at youth and children.

VILNIUS: All the 12 short film projects from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the guest country Hungary, selected for the 13th Baltic Pitching Forum (BPF, 7 -10 October 2025), were pitched in Vilnius before international film experts - BPF Panel and Baltic Producers Jury. The winners were announced.
