COTTBUS: FilmFestival Cottbus is adding a new award, Pickastory, in partnership with the connecting cottbus East-West Co-Production Market.
CLUJ-NAPOCA: Radu Muntean’s seventh feature film Întregalde will screen in the Romanian Days section at the 20th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) right after its world premiere in the Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight. TIFF takes place in Cluj-Napoca from 23 July to 1 August 2021.
CLUJ-NAPOCA: Andrei Huțuleac’s debut feature #dogpoopgirl will screen in the Romanian Days competition at the 20th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), which takes place in Cluj-Napoca 23 July-1 August 2021. The film received the Golden George for Best Film, the Silver George for Best Actress (Andreea Grămoșteanu) and a Special Mention from the Russian film critics at the 43rd Moscow IFF 2021.

Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries (Baltic Sea Docs) has concluded the project selection for its 25th edition that will run on 1-12 September. The most important documentary training and pitching event in the Baltic countries, Baltic Sea Docs is focused on projects from the wider Baltic Sea region, Eastern Europe and Caucasus region. The 18 selected projects represent film studios in 17 countries including Poland, Armenia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Russia, among others.
