BUCHAREST: Albanian director Robert Budina is currently in postproduction with his third feature film Waterdrop, which is a coproduction between Albania, Romania, Italy and Kosovo.

VALLETTA: American feature film Not Without Hope directed by Joe Carnahan has been recently filmed entirely in Malta, using 78 local crew members and with local company FPSM Ltd. providing services. Maltese professionals will also contribute to the film's postproduction.

"Last Breath," a riveting British production, is currently underway in Malta. This true story about an accident in the North Sea at the bottom of an oil rig is being directed by Alex Parkinson and features a high-profile cast that includes Simu Liu, Finn Cole, and Woody Harrelson.

A total of 78 local crew members were part of the team shooting an American feature film titled 'Not Without Hope'.

BUCHAREST: Ben Schnetzer has replaced Rupert Friend as Sergiu Celibidache in the 15 m EUR Romanian/British coproduction The Yellow Tie, the sophomore feature by the son of the great Romanian conductor, Serge Ioan Celebidachi, which starts shooting in Romania on 14 June 2023. Miranda Richardson and Sean Bean have joined the cast recently. John Malkovich, who had been previously announced, will play Celibidache in his later years.

ŽILINA: The very rich programme of the 16th edition of Fest Anča International Animation Festival is centred on the theme of Utopias. The festival held in Žilina, Slovakia, 29 June – 2 July 2023, is the only Slovak multimedia festival focused on animated films primarily for adult audiences.

The 16th edition of Fest Anča International Animation Festival will take place during the first summer holiday weekend from 29 June to 2 July 2023. The theme of this year's festival is UTOPIAS. Its visitors can look forward to a rich selection of Slovak and foreign animated films and a diverse accompanying programme. Fest Anča will screen not only the trilogy of the award-winning director Marta Pajek but also the cult film The Fantastic Planet. Families with children will also find something they like, as Fest Anča has prepared a generous offer of events for them. The festival will also host the second edition of the unique Student Forum, which creates space for discussion between schools and animation students.
