NICOSIA: HBO Max, the global streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery, has expanded to 12 new countries including Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Malta.

This October, Riga International Film Festival’s (RIGA IFF, 16-26 October) programme section ARCHITECT’S CUT will be dedicated to the image and architecture of Paris on screen. On the first weekend of the festival, at the Ziedonis Hall of the National Library of Latvia, the audiences will have a chance to experience two special screenings – The Great Arch, the Cannes-screened biographical drama on the making of the Grande Arche of Paris, and in collaboration with the prestigious Cinémathèque française (French Cinematheque), a selection of shorts by francophone cinema masters, Paris, As Seen By… La Cinémathèque française. ZAGREB: Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan by Yandy Laurens had over 1.5 m admissions in Indonesia in its first ten days in cinemas. The film starring Indonesian and Croatian actors was shot in Croatia in 2024, within the Filming in Croatia programme.

PODGORICA: Public Media Service of Radio Television of Montenegro is now offering contemporary Montenegrin films on its OTT service, the MNE Play platform. This is the first initiative of this kind in Montenegro.

BUCHAREST: The European public streaming platform ARTE.tv, which is based in Strasbourg, France, has added Romanian to its existing content languages (French, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Polish).

"Milk Teeth", the second fiction feature film written and directed by Mihai Mincan, will have its world premiere in the Orizzonti competitive section at The Venice International Film Festival (82nd edition), which will take place from 27 August to 6 September 2025.
