SPLIT: After a year’s hiatus following the sudden death of its founder, filmmaker Branko Karabatić, the Split Film Festival (STFF) returns from 12 to 16 September 2025 under new leadership, dedicated to upholding its tradition of uncompromising artistic and auteur film and video.
PODGORICA: The Montenegrin/British creative documentary Durmitor is She / Durmitor je Ona directed by Vladimir Perović and co-authored by Jelena Vuković has entered postproduction. The Film Centre of Montenegro is supporting the project.
BRATISLAVA: Confession by Slovak director Rebeka Bizubová, and Dad’s not Home by Polish director Jan Saczek received the 2025 Academy Awards in the Documentary and Live Action Narrative categories, respectively.

TBILISI: A total of 65 film projects have been supported within Film in Georgia since the programme’s launch in 2016, with an investment exceeding 63,773,270 EUR / 200 m GEL.
VILNIUS: Twelve short film projects from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the guest country Hungary will be pitched at the upcoming Baltic Pitching Forum (BPF), which will be held in Vilnius 7 -10 October 2025.
