BERLIN: The first of the EFA (European Film Awards) Feature Film Selection 2020 includes 32 titles announced on 18 August 2020. A second announcement will take place in September, allowing the inclusion of films whose premieres were interrupted by the COVID-19 crisis.

Lithuanian Cinematographer Saulius Lukoševičius, who is currently studying in Los Angeles,was awarded the Best Cinematography Award for his short film UNFOLDED.

Rhode Island International Film festival is one of the best International Film Festivals in the world and top 10 Short Film Festivals in the United States.This year, out of 6500 submissions,around 200 movies were selected. Among them - two Lithuanian cinematographer’s short films - UNFOLDED (dir. Cristina Picchi) and BOUND (dir. Mikhail Saburov).

Festivals 18-08-2020Fest Anča 2020 starts in less than two weeks – so it’s high time to unveil the programme! While the international animation festival focuses on short films, it also includes an animated feature-length section – which will be a huge hit with this year’s viewers. The 13th festival’s theme and Fest Anča 2020 feature film selection is truly relevant during these times: The Day After. The four selected feature films include Jan Švankmajer’s live-action/animated Alice (1988), the Japanese classic anime about Hiroshima – Barefoot Gen (1983), and American films for all ages Iron Giant (1999) and Rango (2011).
ZILINA: The 13th edition of Fest Anča, one of the few festivals to be held in person at this time, will take place 27 – 30 August 2020. The international festival of animation aimed at adult audiences has selected its full programme of films.
