The twenty-one edition of Astra Film Festival, which will take place between 6-12 October 2014 in Sibiu, presents a selection of the latest documentaries shot in Romania, both by romanian and foreign filmmakers, representing a radiography of the romanian society beginning with the communist era until today. The films deal directly with current sensitive subjects and controversial historic episodes.

Every year, the fair brings together more than 13,500 participants from over 100 countries, including about 4,600 buyers and 2,100 exhibitors.
