The 7th edition of East Silver documentary market specialized in Eastern and Central European documentary is now open for submission! Submit your film to the biggest internationally recognized database of creative feature and television documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe.

Short film "Hanoi-Warsaw" directed by Katarzyna Klimkiewicz, received the Golden Angel in the category SHORTCUT on the 8th International Film Festival Tofifest 2010

The second EEFA Training Network workshop of this year will take place between 14th and 17th of July in Yerevan, Armenia, jointly hosted by the Golden Apricot Film Festival and ReAnimania. The workshop will cover in-depth co-production aspects for all its 14 selected projects (see list on website: http://www.eefa-eu.org/) and will give their participants access to key European experts (Mrs. Linda Beath, Mrs. Catherine Buresi) during a complete three-day training session. EEFA Training Network 2010 is supported by MEDIA International and coordinated by Romanian Film Sector.

Television Kino Polska, the most popular Polish movie channel, in June recorded
a high score in the group of commercial audience 16-49, occupying 15th place among all the ground stations which are available in Poland. The result is even more impressive considering the fact that it takes place in a hot period of the presidential election and the main ground stations attract viewers, presenting the political debates of the candidates for President of Poland.

The Docu Talents from the East presents nine creative documentary projects from the Eastern Europe in progress. Directors and producers will present their projects in a short pitch, including trailers, to the attending festival organizers, distributors, buyers and journalist. This year, among others Gyula Nemes (Negative Hungarian Film History about the non-realised Hungarian films), Pavel Kostomarov a Aleksandr Rastorguev (You Too reflecting love troubles in a group of young Russians) or Erika Hníková (No Wedding Village about „singles" in the Slovak countryside) will present their work. The event is organized in collaboration with the Jihlava IDFF and Institute of Documentary Film Prague
