BATUMI: Ten films have been selected for the Feature Film Competition of the18th Batumi International Art-house Film Festival, which will be held in Batumi 17 - 24 September 2023.

BUCHAREST: The 19th edition of the Bucharest International Film Festival will screen from 15 to 22 September 2023 seven debut films in the Official Competition, including the Romanian majority coproduction Day of the Tiger / Tigru directed by Andrei Tanase.

The 18th Batumi International Art-house Film Festival will be held in Batumi during 17-24 September. Batumi International Film Festival was established in 2006. Organizer of the film festival - Batumi Art-house "Argani".

RIGA: Fourteen film and series' projects have been selected for the 2nd RIGA IFF SHOWCASE pitching sessions, which will be held within the 10th edition of the Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF, 12 – 22 October 2023).

PRAGUE: Tomáš Mašín’s Brothers / Bratři has been selected as Czech Republic‘s candidate for the 96th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a coproduction between the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia.

In preparation for the celebratory 10th edition of the Riga International Film festival (RIGA IFF) 14 feature film and series' projects have been selected for the RIGA IFF SHOWCASE pitching sessions.

SARAJEVO: Una Gunjak’s debut feature Excursion / Ekskurzija has been selected as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s candidate for the 96th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a coproduction between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Norway and France.

PRAGUE: CEE Animation Workshop has launched the call for applications for its 6th edition to be held in 2024. The deadline for submissions is 20 October 2023.
