MOTOVUN: Irish/Cuban coproduction Viva by Paddy Breathnach has won the Propeller of Motovun at the 19th Motovun Film Festival, which took place from 26 to 30 July 2016.
TARTU: The 11th Tartu Love Film Festival will screen 18 films related to love in Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats), the biggest open air cinema in the Baltics, from 1 to 6 August 2016.

PALIĆ: German/Austrian/Romanian coproduction Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade was awarded Golden Tower for Best Film in the International Competition of the 23rd European Film Festival Palić, Serbia (16-22 July 2016).
ZAGREB: In the first half of 2016, four international productions chose Croatia as their filming location, with additional six in the pipeline. The projects originate from the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the US.
