Prague, April 20, 2010 - At this year's 23rd Finále Pilsen, the traditional Panel of Upcoming Film Projects will present a total of 64 Czech feature and animated film projects. The event is set to take place from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm on Friday, April 23, in the small auditorium of Měšťanská beseda in Pilsen. The Panel is organized by the Czech Film Center, in collaboration with Finále Pilsen.

EAST EUROPEAN FILM ALLIANCE, a consortium of Eastern European film organizations with the financial support of the MEDIA INTERNATIONAL Preparatory Action of the European Union launch its training program „EEFA Training Network 2010" to be held during this year.

On Sunday 4th April the visitors of the 23rd year of Finále started booking their tickets to festival screenings on internet website www.filmfestfinale.cz/en. From the very beginning the most popular films were Kawasaki's Rose, Protektor, Women in Temptation, An Earthy Paradise for the Eyes and Dreamers. After completing a reservation tickets are collected from the box office in Měšťanská Beseda.

Prague, April 16, 2010 - Czech Film Center will present a block of short films produced by Czech film schools at this year's Finále Pilsen, the Czech film festival's 23rd year. The short film screening event debuts at the festival in addition to CFC's regular Panel of Upcoming Feature and Animated Films. CFC has long promoted both finished feature films and film projects in development. But this year it set its sights on short films in hopes of opening the door to the international world of cinema for novice filmmakers.
