Record number of submissions for Kids Kino Industry 2022 – the official selection
Festivals 25-07-202295 projects from 27 countries have been submitted for the pitching sections of the Kids Kino Industry forum, which is the absolute record in the history of the event. The most promising 26 projects have been selected for the pitchings and they will join the previously preselected winning project of the Kids Kino Industry Exchange Award. The event will take place from the 27th to the 29th of September (Warsaw/online), and on the 30th of September (online).

NICOSIA: A total of 41 films from 21 countries will screen in the official selection of the 21st Countryside Animafest Cyprus Views of the World. The main animated films festival in the country will be held 10 – 13 August 2022 in the village of Platanistia.
VENICE: The Ear / Ucho, a Czechoslovak production from 1969 directed by Karel Kachyna has been selected for Venice Classics, which returns this year to the Venice International Film Festival of La Biennale di Venezia after the previous pandemic years when it was hosted in Bologna by the Il cinema ritrovato festival and in the historic city centre of Venice.

PRAGUE: The Czech Film Fund has distributed 800,000 EUR / 20 m CZK to 11 minority coproductions including six feature films, three long documentaries and two short animated films. The results were announced on 15 July 2022.
The Industry Programme is intended for film professionals from Croatia and abroad with the goal of professional networking and education, but primarily the goal of marketing Croatian film projects in postproduction.
