No registration needed. All the webinars will be held online (on the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia YouTube channel) and are open for public. The webinars will be conducted in English.

We are pleased to announce that the awards of the 17th edition of the Animateka International Animated Film Festival have been presented. Below you can see the list of all the winners.

Fundacja dla Kina and Kino Pod Baranami present the 21st edition of the Silent Film Festival - which will be held online on e-kinopodbaranami.pl platform. All featured films will be filled with nostalgia and melancholy. The home screens will be filled with great silent cinema stars, such as Marlena Dietrich, Gloria Swanson, Rudolph Valentino, Lyda Borelli, Pola Negri and Emil Jannings. Some of the films will be shown with concerts, performed by artists representing different musical styles.

The annual awards of the Czech Film and Television Academy (CFTA) symbolized by the statuettes of the Czech Lion will head off to the hands of film makers on Saturday 6th March 2021 in Dvořák’s Hall of Prague’s Rudolfinum for the twenty-eighth time. The Czech Television will traditionally broadcast the ceremonial gala evening live for their audience at CT1 channel at 20:10 pm. The host of the gala evening will be Václav Kopta for the third time. The time proven trio of the supervising director Marek Najbrt, the director of the gala evening Michael Čech and the stage designer Martin Chocholoušek will again keep a tight yet creative enough rein on the evening.

The Czech Lion enters its 28th year with the visual by the Formaat studio. The nominations for the awards of the Czech Film and Television Academy for the year of 2020 will be announced on 18th January 2021. The voting of the members of the academy started last week. PRAGUE: Long documentaries in the rough-cut stage are eligible to apply for the dok.incubator workshop 2021 until 27 January 2021.

TALLINN: Two French films won the top awards at the 2020 Just Film festival of children's films, which was held under the banner of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Slalom by Charlène Favier won the Grand Prix from the international jury, and The Fantastic Journey of Margot & Marguerite directed by Pierre Coré won the Best Film Award from the children’s jury.

Feature film productions supported by the Polish Film Insitute in the 3rd session of 2020

LJUBLJANA: The Serbian short film Mud Chronicles by Vuk Palibrk won the ;DASF Audience Award and a prize of 1,000 EUR at the awards ceremony of the 17th edition of Animateka International Animated Film Festival on 6 December 2020. The festival took place in an online format.
