WARSAW: Jan Naszewski’s Warsaw-based New Europe Film Sales announced that it has signed a world sales deal for Ognjen Glavonić debut film The Load, set for world premiere in Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight.

BUCHAREST: The 22th European Film Festival opens on 7 May 2018 in Bucharest. The festival will screen 64 films from 24 countries in eight cities across Romania, including Galați, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Tîrgu Mureș, Timișoara, Alba Iulia, Iași and Sibiu, closing on 3 June. The festival organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute is one of the oldest film festivals in Bucharest.
