PODGORICA: The 39th Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival (22 - 28 August 2026) will open with the Danish film Home / Dom, directed by Montenegrin-born actress/director Marijana Janković, and will close with To Hold a Mountain / Planina (Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia) by Biljana Tutorov and Petr Glomaz.

BUDAPEST: Production is underway in Budapest for Killing Hitler, a historical action thriller directed by Danny A. Abeckaser. The film marks the feature-film debut of 25-year-old Dylan Douglas (son of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones), who stars alongside David Arquette, both playing the central character across different eras of his life.
