TALLINN: Seventeen projects have been selected for the 15th Co-Production Market, set to take place from 21 to 24 November 2016 at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event during the Black Nights Film Festival.

LJUBLJANA: Ten films will compete in the 27th edition of Ljubljana International Film Festival set to take place from 9 to 20 November 2016.

COTTBUS: Twelve titles will compete for the main prize of the 26th edition of FilmFestival Cottbus, set to take place from 8 to 13 November 2016.

JIHLAVA: The 20th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival will screen 310 film titles out of more than 3,600 submitted films. The competition sections will showcase 45 world premieres, as well as eleven international and two European premieres. The festival will run from 25 to 30 October 2016.

PRAGUE: A film by Georges Méliès labeled Imperceptible Transmutations / Les Transmutations imperceptibles (1904) has been found at the Czech National Film Archives.

VALLETTA: Popular British series Birds of a Feather is currently shooting in various locations in Malta as Malta Film Commission aims to establish a more consistent film industry with back-to-back productions throughout the year.

TBILISI: New feature film by the Georgian director Zaza Urushadze, author of Oscar-nominated Tangerines, once again made in collaboration with Estonian producer Ivo Felt of Allfilm, has been acquired by Picture Tree International.

ZAGREB: Four of the thirteen titles competing for the Golden Pram of the 14th Zagreb Film Festival are Croatian productions. The festival takes place from 12 to 20 November 2016.

Documentary films from the CEE region, supported by the Institute of Documentary Film, are regularly screened at international film festivals also thanks to the East Silver Caravan project. There will be a chance to watch them within the East Silver video library during Jihlava IDFF.
